THE MISSION OF THE MAF IS TO PROMOTE AND FOSTER THE DEVELOPMENT OF, AND FUNDRAISING FOR, AQUATICS PROGRAMS, YOUTH AQUATIC EDUCATION AND AQUATIC SAFETY. MAF CURRENTLY HOLDS PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CITY OF MALIBU FOR FOUR SWIMMING PROGRAMS. THESE AQUATICS PROGRAMS OFFER A DIVERSE MEMBERSHIP WHERE ALL SEGMENTS OF THE MALIBU COMMUNITY ARE REPRESENTED IN POOL AND OCEAN CLASSES. MAF TRAINS CHILDREN IN COMPETITIVE AND RECREATIONAL SWIMMING ACTIVITIES (MALIBU SEAWOLVES YOUTH SWIM TEAM, JUNIOR LIFEGUARDS TRAINING AND SWIM CONDITIONING) AND RUNS MASTERS (ADULT) SWIM CLASSES (MALIBU SWIM CLUB).
