THE FUND IS A CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE TO EMPLOYEES OF AVEANNA HEALTHCARE HOLDINGS, INC. AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES AND AFFILIATES ("AVEANNA HEALTHCARE") DURING TIMES OF HARDSHIP RESULTING FROM, AMONG OTHER THINGS, A PERSONAL TRAGEDY, DEATH IN THE FAMILY, OR NATURAL DISASTERS.

THE FUND MAKES TWO TYPES OF GRANTS TO EMPLOYEES - NATURAL DISASTER OR CALAMITY GRANTS AND EMERGENCY HARDSHIP GRANTS. NATURAL DISASTER OR CALAMITY GRANTS PROVIDE EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE TO AVEANNA HEALTHCARE EMPLOYEES WHO CANNOT MEET BASIC LIVING EXPENSES DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND THEIR CONTROL. THE FUND WILL ALSO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO EMPLOYEES THAT ARE EXPERIENCING EMERGENCY HARDSHIPS, WHICH CAN BE MADE EVEN IF THE EMPLOYEE IS ABLE TO MEET BASIC LIVING EXPENSES.
