TRAIN AND EDUCATE OUR MEMBERS (ADMINISTRATORS, BOARD MEMBERS AND STAFF) REGARDING GOVERNANCE, LEGAL ISSUES, FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES, RISK MANAGEMENT, SAFETY, AND OTHER ISSUES. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH OUR ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND OTHER TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. THIS IS ABOUT 40% OF OUR TIME.
PROVIDE NETWORKING AND COMMUNICATION TO OUR MEMBERS REGARDING ISSUES THAT AFFECT RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICTS WHICH INCLUDE NEWSLETTERS, CORRESPONDENCE, EMAIL, BROADCASTS AND TRAINING WITH OUR MEMBERS.
