OPEN EMPLOYMENT WORKED WITH INDIVIDUALS IN SONOMA, MENDOCINO, AND LAKE COUNTIES WHO HAVE BARRIERS TO EMPLOYMENT. THE BARRIERS INCLUDE DEVELOPMENTALLY, PHYSICALLY, AND MENTALLY DISPLACED WORKERS, AND THE UNDEREMPLOYED.OUR JOB DEVELOPERS ASSISTED OUR CLIENTS WITH JOB TARGETING, RESUME AND COVER LETTER CREATION, MOCK INTERVIEWING, APPROPRIATE GROOMING, ONLINE APPLICATION SUPPORT, CONFIDENCE BUILDING, AND PROPER COMMUNICATION ETIQUETTE. THE JOB DEVELOPER ATTENDS NETWORKING CLASSES AND JOB FAIRES WITH CLIENTS. THE JOB DEVELOPER GENERATES JOB LEADS BY NETWORKING WITH EMPLOYERS IN THE COMMUNITY. THE JOB DEVELOPER PASSES LEADS ON TO OUR CLIENTS SO THEY CAN APPLY AND RECEIVE AN INTERVIEW. THE JOB DEVELOPER TEACHES CLIENTS HOW TO SPEAK WITH EMPLOYERS TO OBTAIN AN INTERVIEW, HOW TO SPEAK IN AN INTERVIEW AND HOW TO FOLLOW UP. ONCE THE CLIENT IS HIRED WE PROVIDE SHORT TERM SUPPORT BY OUR JOB COACHES. OUR JOB COACHES SUPPORT CLIENTS ON THE JOB TO HELP THEM RETAIN EMPLOYMENT. OUR JOB COACHES ARE A LIAISON BETWEEN THE CLIENT AND THE EMPLOYER. IF ANY ISSUES ARISE WITH OUR CLIENT, LIKE GROOMING, TIME MANAGEMENT, ABSENCES OR TRAINING, OUR COACHES ARE THERE TO HELP SOLVE THE PROBLEM PROFESSIONALLY.
