TWIN CITIES RECOVERY PROJECT LNC'S MISSION IS TO OFFER ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT TO THOSE SUFFERING FROM SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER IN THEIR TRANSITION TOWARD LIFESTYLES OF HEALTH AND PRODUCTIVITY BY OFFERING A DRUG FREE ENVIRONMENT AS WELL AS RESOURCES TO DEVELOP THE WHOLE PERSON.

PEER TO PEER DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY - A 5 DAY, 8 HOUR A DAY TRAINING. UPON COMPLETION PARTICIPANTS GO FORWARD TO TAKE THE STATE EXAM TO BECOME CERTIFIED PEER SPECIALISTS. A CERTIFIED PEER SPECIALIST IS SOMEONE WITH PERSONAL LIVED EXPERIENCE IN RECOVERY ASSISTING CLIENTS IN NAVIGATING RESOURCES SUCH AS HOUSING, COACHING FOR JOB PREPARATION, ETC.
OPIOID OUTREACH - TO REDUCE THE STIGMA AND PROVIDE EDUCATION AND AWARENESS IN ADDRESSING THE OPIOID EPIDEMIC - DISTRIBUTION OF NAIOXNE, CLEAN SYRINGES, HYGIENE PRODUCTS AND OTHER ESSENTIAL NEEDS.
BOOTS ON THE GROUND - CONDUCTED A NATIONAL CONFERENCE GEARED TOWARDS THE INNER CITY MINORITY POPULATION ADDRESSING THE OPIOID USE CRISIS, IT'S STIGMA AND OFFERING SOLUTIONS TO THE INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES EFFECTED.
