SINCE ITS INCEPTION IN 2016, ENCIRCLE HAS DEPLOYED TWO CORE INITIATIVES TO PROVIDE ONGOING SUPPORT TO VULNERABLE LGBTQ+ YOUTH AND THEIR FAMILIES: 1) A SUITE OF EVIDENCE-BASED AFFIRMING PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO CULTIVATE CONNECTION, FAMILY ACCEPTANCE, AND BELONGING, INCLUDING DAILY PEER-TO-PEER FRIENDSHIP CIRCLES; 2) ACCESS TO CO-LOCATED QUALITY MENTAL HEALTH THERAPY SERVICES. SINCE OPENING ITS FIRST HOME IN PROVO, UTAH IN FEBRUARY 2017, ENCIRCLE HAS PROVIDED LIFE-AFFIRMING PROGRAMMING TO OVER 108,593 LGBTQ+ INDIVIDUALS, INCLUDING 10,917 SUBSIDIZED MENTAL HEALTH THERAPY SESSIONS; AND 3) PUBLISHING EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT.
