IAP PUBLISHED THE REPORT, COMBATTING ACADEMIC PREDATORY JOURNALS AND CONFERENCES, IN MARCH 2022, INCLUDING SUMMARY REPORTS TRANSLATED INTO 6 LANGUAGES. SEE: HTTPS://WWW.INTERACADEMIES.ORG/PROJECT/PREDATORYPUBLISHINGTHIS STUDY AND RESULTING REPORT WAS A PRIMARY PROGRAMMATIC ACTIVITY IN 2021, DURING WHICH SEVERAL MEETINGS OF THE EXPERT WORKING GROUP WERE HELD.IAP ALSO HELD THE ONLINE THREE-DAY INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP, DECARBONIZATION OF TRANSPORT IN AFRICA, IN NOVEMBER 2021, WHICH BROUGHT TOGETHER GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, SCIENTISTS AND ENGINEERS, INTERNATIONAL FINANCE ORGANIZATIONS, AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS TO DISCUSS THIS TOPIC AND TO HELP IAP SCOPE A STUDY PLANNED TO START IN 2022.
