UNION HOSPITAL OF CECIL COUNTY ONCOLOGY (THE "CORPORATION") WAS FORMED IN APRIL 2016. IT IS THE DUTY AND MISSION OF THE CORPORATION TO PROVIDE HIGH QUALITY, ADVANCED RADIATION ONCOLOGY SERVICES TO THE CECIL COUNTY AREA IN ORDER TO FOSTER THE BEST CANCER TREATMENT PROCESS CLOSE TO HOME. CANCER-RELATED DEATHS ARE AMONG THE HIGHEST CAUSES OF MORTALITY IN CECIL COUNTY, SO IT IS THE CORPORATION'S MISSION TO BRING SOME OF THE MOST ADVANCED RADIATION THERAPIES TO CECIL COUNTY TO PROVIDE THE MOST COMPREHENSIVE CANCER CARE POSSIBLE TO THE PEOPLE LIVING WITH CANCER HERE AND IN NEIGHBORING COMMUNITIES.
