PROGRAM 1: TENANT OUTREACH AND EDUCATION: BE:SEATTLE BUILDS THE POWER AND LEADERSHIP OF RENTERS AND PEOPLE EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS TO FIGHT DISPLACEMENT AND INCREASE ACCESS TO AFFORDABLE HOUSING IN SEATTLE THROUGH RENTER EDUCATION, ORGANIZING, MUTUAL AID, AND ADVOCATING FOR HOUSING JUSTICE POLICIES PRIORITIZING EQUITY, AND STABILITY. BE:SEATTLE IS A TENANT AND UNHOUSED NEIGHBOR LED ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO EMPOWERING AND FIGHTING FOR OUR HOUSELESS AND RENTER NEIGHBORS, AS WE BELIEVE THE TWO ARE INTERCONNECTED IN THE FIGHT FOR HOUSING JUSTICE.
