INSTRUCTOR SCHOOLS TRAIN CIVILIANS, FIRST RESPONDERS AND MILITARY PERSONNEL THE YFFR PROTOCOL SO THAT THEY CAN GO BACK AND TEACH YFFR CLASSES AT THEIR LOCAL PUBLIC SAFETY AGENCIES. IN 2021 WE HELD 8 INSTRUCTORS SCHOOLS IN 6 STATES TRAINING 280 NEW INSTRUCTORS. THE SITES INCLUDED: SAN JOAQUIN (CA), CHICAGO (IL), LACKLAND AFB (TX), IA ANG (IA) X2, WICHITA (KS), KNOXVILLE (TN), IDAHO FALLS (ID).
IN PERSON PROGRAMMING, ARE CLASSES THAT ARE OFFERED TO AGENCIES AND PERSONNEL IN PERSON, THESE CAN BE WEEKLY MAT CLASSES, IN SERVICE TRAINING OR TRAINING DEMOES. THIS PROGRAM TEACHES FIRST RESPONDERS TO PROCESS STRESS, BUILD RESILIENCE, AND ENHANCE PERFORMANCE THROUGH YOGA WHICH IS JOB SPECIFIC AND CULTURALLY INFORMED. WE REACHED 29,151 FIRST RESPONDERS AND TAUGHT 149,456 MINUTES OF YOGA AND WITH 1,825 CLASSES BEING TAUGHT IN 33 STATES AND 3 COUNTRIES.
DIGITAL PROGRAMMING OFFERS INDIVIDUALS AND AGENCIES AN ABILITY TO ACCESS THE YFFR PROTOCOL VIA TWO CHANNEL, YFFR UNIVERSITY AND YFFR CYBER ACADEMY. IN 2021 WE LAUNCHED BOTH OF THESE PLATFORMS, YFFR UNIVERSITY IS USED BY OUR TRAINEES THAT WILL BE ATTENDING INSTRUCTOR SCHOOL AND WAS BETA TESTED WITH US FISH AND WILDLIFE AS OUR FIRST AGENCY TO PROVIDE OUR 2 HOUR INSERVICE TRAINING ONLINE. YFFR CYBER ACADEMY IS AN ON DEMAND TRAINING PLATFORM WITH OVER 105 CLASS WHICH ALLOWS FIRST RESPONDERS AND CIVILIANS TO PRACTICE THE YFFR PROTOCOL ANYTIME ANYWHERE. IN 2021 WE HAD 811 ACTIVE SUBSCRIBERS WHO STREAMED 20,815 VIDEOS. WE ALSO HAD A 6 WEEK ONLINE TRAINING COURSE UNDERGO CLINICAL REVIEW IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW SOUTH WALES AND THE BLACK DOG RESEARCH INSTITUTE, WE ARE AWAITING FINDINGS TO BE PUBLISHED, BUT INITIAL RESULTS SHOW POSITIVE OUTCOMES INCLUDING REDUCED MARKERS OF PTSD.
