TEAM UNIFORMS AND GOLF EQUIPMENT WERE PROVIDED FOR OVER 150 VETERANS WHO PARTICIPATE IN THE GOLF PROGRAM.PRACTICE BALLS WERE SUPPLIED TO THE PARTICIPANTS.TEACHING TOOLS WERE SUPPLIED TO THE VOLUNTEER COACHES WHO HELP THE PARTICIPANTS.ENTRY FEES, FOOD, TRANSPORTATION AND SPONSORSHIP OF VETERANS IN THE PROGRAM WERE PAID FOR THOSE WHO DESIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN GOLF TOURNAMENTS, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING: HOMES FOR HEROES GOLF TOURN, NORTHERN CALIFORNIA VET GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP, LADY LIBERTY TOURNAMENT, AND MATHER VETERANS GOLF PROGRAM TOURNAMENT.FOOD AND GAS CARDS WERE GIVEN TO SOME OF THE VETERAN FAMILIES IN OUR PROGRAM.RENT, UTILITIES, CAR REPAIRS, CAR PAYMENTS, VEHICLE REGISTRATIONS,AND MOVING EXPENSES WERE PAID FOR SOME OF THE VETERANS IN OUR PROGRAM WHO WERE STRUGGLING WITH BASIC NEEDS.AT THANKSGIVING, MONETARY SUPPORT WAS DONATED TO HELP PROVIDE FOR MEALS AT THE VETERANS VILLAGE. HOLIDAY LUNCHEONS WERE PROVIDED FOR ALL INTERESTED PARTICIPANTS.FACILITATED VGP PARTICIPANTS TO ENTER A CHILI COOK-OFF.
