THE CONGAREE FOUNDATION'S PURPOSE IS TO POSITIVELY IMPACT THE LIVES OF YOUNG PEOPLE, LOCALLY AND AROUND THE GLOBE, BY PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL AND VOCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH THE GAME OF GOLF.THE CONGAREE FOUNDATION HOSTS THE CONGAREE GLOBAL GOLF INITIATIVE TO HELP ACADEMICALLY COMMITTED AND TALENTED YOUNG GOLFERS WITH LIMITED RESOURCES EXPAND THEIR OPTIONS AND ACCESS TO POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION AND ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIPS. THE FOUNDATION PARTNERS WITH COMMUNITY NONPROFITS AND LOCAL GOLF ORGANIZATIONS TO OFFER GOLF INSTRUCTION, WORKFORCE TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES AND SUPPORT PROGRAMS TO YOUNG PEOPLE AND FAMILIES IN THE SOUTH CAROLINA LOWCOUNTRY.
