FUND SERVICES & EDUCATION: THE FOUNDATION ADMINISTERED THE RECEIPT OF CHARITABLE ASSETS THROUGH A VARIETY OF CHARITABLE GIVING TOOLS SUCH AS DONOR ADVISED FUNDS, PERMANENT ENDOWMENTS, AND CHARITABLE GIFT ANNUITIES FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAKING GRANTS TO VARIOUS NONPROFITS.


COMMUNITY SUPPORT PROGRAMS: THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTED THE COMMUNITY AND LOCAL NONPROFITS THROUGH THE FOLLOWING: MISSOULA GIVES: AN ANNUAL DAY OF GIVING THAT TOOK PLACE IN MAY OF 2022 WHICH RAISED OVER $1.2 MILLION FROM 3967 DONORS FOR 186 NONPROFITS IN MISSOULA COUNTY. WOMEN'S GIVING CIRCLE: A PHILANTHROPIC COLLABORATIVE GRANTING GROUP OF WOMEN WHO AWARDED $12,000 IN GRANTS IN 2022 SMALL GRANTS TO NONPROFITS: GRANTS AWARDED TO LOCAL NONPROFITS BOTH THROUGH A COMPETITIVE GRANT PROCESS AND AS PASS-THROUGH GRANTS. SCHOLARSHIPS: THE FOUNDATION MANAGED SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS AND AWARDED SCHOLARSHIPS.


FISCAL SPONSORSHIP: THE MISSOULA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION INCUBATED IDEAS AND PROJECTS THROUGH FISCAL SPONSORSHIP. THE FOUNDATION RECEIVED AND ADMINISTERED CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS DESIGNATED FOR OTHER ORGANIZATIONS THAT WERE EITHER APPLYING FOR THEIR 501C(3) STATUS OR IMPLEMENTING A ONE-TIME PROJECT IN ALIGNMENT WITH OUR MISSION.
