DEFENDING WILDERNESS/THIS PROGRAM INCLUDES OUR EFFORTS TO PROTECT WILDERNESS BY REVIEWING AND PROVIDING COMMENTS ON PROJECTS OR MANAGEMENTS PLANS OR POLICIES THAT AFFECT DESIGNATED WILDERNESS, CHALLENGING THOSE PROJECTS AND PLANS WHEN NECESSARY BY FILING ADMINISTRATIVE APPEALS OR OTHER MEANS, AND BY PROVIDING INFORMATION TO GOVERNING BODIES ON THE EFFECTS TO WILDERNESS FROM PENDING LEGISLATION.
CITIZENS ENGAGEMENT/THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES INFORMATION TO OUR MEMBERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN ORDER TO MAKE THEM BETTER INFORMED WILDERNESS ADVOCATES.
