DAHL MEMORIAL HEALTHCARE ASSOCIATION (DMHA) IS COMPRISED OF A 25-BED CRITICAL ACCESS HOSPITAL AND A RURAL HEALTH CLINIC WHICH PROVIDES HEALTH CARE SERVICES TO CARTER COUNTY AND THE SURROUNDING AREA. DMHA PROVIDED 125 DAYS OF INPATIENT SERVICES, 489 SWING BED DAYS, 6,878 PATIENT DAYS OF LONG TERM CARE, AND 1,960 CLINIC VISITS DURING 2022. THE HOSPITAL PROVIDES CARE TO PERSONS COVERED BY GOVERNMENTAL PROGRAMS AT OR BELOW COST AND TO INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE UNABLE TO PAY.
