DAHL MEMORIAL HEALTHCARE ASSOCIATION (DMHA) IS COMPRISED OF A 25-BED CRITICAL ACCESS HOSPITAL AND A RURAL HEALTH CLINIC WHICH PROVIDES HEALTH CARE SERVICES TO CARTER COUNTY AND THE SURROUNDING AREA. DMHA PROVIDED 52 DAYS OF INPATIENT SERVICES, 108 SWING BED DAYS, 5,738 PATIENT DAYS OF LONG TERM CARE, AND 1,509 CLINIC VISITS DURING 2021. THE HOSPITAL PROVIDES CARE TO PERSONS COVERED BY GOVERNMENTAL PROGRAMS AT OR BELOW COST AND TO INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE UNABLE TO PAY.
