DURING THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING 6/30/23, THE IHRSA FOUNDATION CONDUCTED A CONSUMER RESEARCH STUDY TO UNDERSTAND THE BARRIERS RELATED TO PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND CONDUCTED A BEHAVIORAL SCIENCE RESEARCH PROJECT TO DEVELOP EVIDENCE-BASED CONSUMER MESSAGING THAT PROMOTES PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND EXERCISE. THE FOUNDATION ALSO PRODUCED RESOURCES FUNDED BY SPECIAL OLYMPICS INTERNATIONAL TO SUPPORT CLUBS IN EXPANDING INCLUSION OF PEOPLE WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES. THE FOUNDATION ALSO WORKED WITH VICTORY OUTREACH RENO AND THE CARITATE LIFE ENHANCEMENT FOUNDATION TO HELP CHURCH LEADERS IN LATIN AMERICAN COMMUNITIES GUIDE AND SUPPORT THEIR CONGREGATIONS TO MAKE HEALTHY LIFESTYLE CHANGES.
