THE EVENING REPORTING CENTER IS AN ALTERNATIVE TO DETENTION. WE PROVIDE YOUTH WITH AN OPPORTUNITY TO COMPLETE WHAT THE COURTS REQUIRE WHILE THEY ARE STILL IN A COMMUNITY SETTING. YOUTH ARE PROVIDED WITH GROUP AND INDIVIDUAL SETTINGS TO ASSIST WITH THE DEVELOPMENT OF POSITIVE LIFE, BEHAVIORAL AND COMPETENCY SKILLS. OUR GOAL IS HELP YOUTH GAIN THE NEEDED SKILL SET TO BE SUCCESSFUL AND TO KEEP YOUTH FROM MOVING FORWARD INTO THE ADULT SYSTEM.
PRP ASSIST INDIVIDUALS WITH LIFE, SOCIAL, RELATIONSHIP, AND COMPETENCY SKILL DEVELOPMENT. PARTICIPANTS SUFFER FROM A MENTAL HEALTH DIAGNOSIS THAT CREATES BARRIERS FOR THEM AND OUR TEAM IS THERE TO HELP THEM OVERCOME THOSE BARRIERS. SUPPORTIVE SERVICES ARE DELIVERED VIA IN-PERSON OR TELEHEALTH. WE ARE REDUCING THE COST TO THE STATE FOR PARTICIPANTS USING THE ER AS A CRISIS MANAGEMENT TOOL.
THE RE-ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMS PROVIDE DISCONNECTED YOUTH 16-24 YEARS OLD WITH SUPPORTIVE SERVICES TO GET RECONNECTED INTO THE SCHOOL AND/OR EMPLOYMENT. WE ASSIST DISCONNECTED YOUTH TO REMOVE BARRIERS FOR THEM TO GET INTO AN APPROPRIATE PROGRAM SO THEY CAN BE SUCCESSFUL. YOUTH GAIN A GED, HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EMPLOYMENT. RESOURCE AND REFERRALS ARE PROVIDED AS WELL.
