THE ACHIEVEMENT OF EACH PROGRAM THROUGH THE CELEBRATION OF ART, CULTURE, AND HISTORY IS TO PROMOTE EDUCATION, INCREASE EMOTIONAL INTELLECT, EMPOWERMENT, EXPOSURE, AND EXECUTION. PARTICIPATION IN THE NAYCS PROGRAMS AND EVENTS ALLOWS EVERYONE TO WALK AWAY WITH A LEVEL OF SELF-WORTH AND AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE IDENTITY OF SELF. SUCH PROGRAMS INCLUDE THE YOUTH POP-UP, SENIOR DAY, SENIOR ARTS CONNECT, READING CIRCLE, SOJO COMMUNITY OUTREACH, YOUTH ENTREPRENEUR, COMMUNITY MURAL BEAUTIFICATION, BLACK HISTORY CELEBRATION, MUSEUMS DAY, KWANZA, JAZZ FESTIVAL, MLK CELEBRATION, YOUTH DOCENT, TALA MUSIC, AND PRO-YOUTH & FAMILIEIS SUMMER CAMP.
