EDUCATION, IMMIGRATION AND ORGANIZING HELP IN EDUCATION IS OFFERED WITH AN AFTER SCHOOL HOME WORK CENTER IN GRADES K8. WE HAVE A 4 WEEK ACADEMIC SUMMER PROGRESS, DURING THE MONTH OF JULY FOR GRADES K8. WE HAVE A 4 WEEK ACADEMIC SUMMER PROGRAM DURING THE MONTH OF JULY FOR GRADES K8. WE OFFER SCHOLARSHIPS TO GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS, AND CONTINUING COLLEGE STUDENTS. 32 SCHOLARSHIPS WERE AWARDED IN 2020. OUR IMMIGRATION/ORGANIZING WORK CONSISTS OF CONSULTATION, FAMILY BASED PETITIONS, US CITIZENSHIP CLASSES AND HELP WITH PREPARATION /FILLING AND FILING OF THE N400 CITIZENSHIP APPLICATION. WE OFER ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE ESL CLASSES, AS WELL AS KNOW YOUR RIGHTS WORKSHOPS.
HOUSING OUR PROGRAM HELP TO FIND/PROVIDE SAFE PARKING FOR INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES LIVING IN THEIR VEHICLE. WE ALSO MANAGE A MOTEL AND A TINY HOME COMMUNITY CALLED CASITAS DE ESPERANZA.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE OUR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM DOES HOMELESS PREVENTION, SCREENING ASSISTANCE WITH SECURITY DEPOSIT APPLICATIONS OTHER AGENCIES.
