LEADERSHIP MOUNTAIN VIEW IS AN EDUCATION PROGRAM TO DEVELOP LEADERSHIP ROLES WITHIN THE COMMUNITY. THE PROGRAM IS COMPRISED OF 9 MONTHLY FULL-DAY SEMINARS, EACH FOCUSING ON DIFFERENT THEMES SUCH AS EDUCATION, PUBLIC SAFETY, CITY GOVERNMENT, HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES, AND OTHER ASPECTS OF COMMUNITY.
THE MISSION OF STUDENT OUTREACH & ADVANCEMENT RESOURCE (SOAR) IS TO DELIVER HIGHLY INDIVIDUALIZED AND STUDENT CENTERED ONE-ON-ONE MENTORING, COUNSELING, AND SUPPORT TO UNDERACHIEVING AND AT-RISK COMMUNITY COLLEGE STUDENTS. EACH YEAR THE ORGANIZATION GIVES SCHOLARSHIPS TO DESERVING HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS.
THE MISSION OF ILOVE MV IS TO BRING THE MINDFULNESS PROGRAM TO THE ENTIRE MOUNTAIN VIEW COMMUNITY AND GET EVERYONE TO BE MORE AWARE OF OUR REACTIONS TO THE DAILY STRESS OF LIVING IN SILICON VALLEY.
