CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY CRAFT COURSES UTILIZING THE NATIONALLY STANDARDIZED NCCER CURRICULUM WERE PROVIDED TO 716 STUDENTS.
THE HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM PROVIDES STUDENTS WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPLORE THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY; IT GIVES CTE TEACHERS RESOURCES AND NEW CONNECTIONS TO THE CURRENT HAPPENINGS IN THE INDUSTRY; AND IT ENCOURAGES INDUSTRY PARTICIPATION FROM COMPANIES WHO WILL SEEK TO FILL CONSTRUCTION POSITIONS. THERE WERE 62 PARTICIPATING HIGH SCHOOLS FROM 23 AREA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICTS PARTICIPATING IN 2021.
