TRAVEL EXPENSES: THE MEMBERS OF THE CLEAR BROOK HIGH SCHOOL BAND INCURRED TRAVEL EXPENSES TO ATTEND ALL REGULAR SEASON FOOTBALL GAMES AND SEVERAL OTHER REGIONAL MARCHING BAND CONTESTS AFTER THE FOOTBALL SEASON, THE WINTER DRUMLINE UNIT COMPETED IN SEVERAL REGIONAL COMPETITIONS. FINALLY, THE WINTER GUARD COMPETED IN SEVERAL IN-STATE COMPETITIONS. IN EACH CASE, THE NECESSARY EQUIPMENT, PROPS, UNIFORMS, AND MATERIALS WERE TRANSPORTED TO THE LOCATION OF THE EVENT. THESE EXPENSES ARE PRIMARILY PAID FOR OUT OF STUDENT FEES BUT ARE ALSO PARTIALLY OFFSET BY FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES COORDINATED BY CBBBC.
MARCHING SHOW, WINTER DRUMLINE & WINTER GUARD EXPENSES : CBBBC PARTICIPATES IN MULTIPLE CONTESTS AND SHOWS AND INCURS EXPENSES RELATED TO THESE EVENTS. EXPENSES INCLUDE CLINICIANS, CONTEST FEES, SUPPLIES, AND OTHER MISCELLANEOUS EXPENSES TO PROMOTE THE EXEMPT ORGANIZATION'S PURPOSE. THESE EXPENSES ARE PAID FOR OUT OF STUDENT FEES BUT ARE ALSO PARTIALLY OFFSET BY THE FUNDRAISING EFFORTS COORDINATED BY CBBBC.
EQUIPMENT & PROPS: EQUIPMENT AND PROPS ARE AN INTEGRAL COMPONENT FOR EACH UNIT IN THE BAND PROGRAM. CBBBC IS PRIMARILY PAID FOR OUT OF STUDENT FEES BUT ARE ALSO PARTIALLY OFFSET BY FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES COORDINATED BY CBBBC. THE MEMBERS OF THE COLOR GUARD, THE MEMBERS OF THE WINTER GUARD, AND THE MEMBERS OF THE WINTER DRUMLINE WERE EACH IN NEED OF NEW EQUIPMENT DURING THE YEAR WHICH ARE USED FOR THE ENHANCEMENT OF PERFORMANCES AND COMPETITIONS.
OTHER EXPENSE: INCLUDES $775 FOR THE MEMORY BOOK; AND $31,626 FOR OTHER EXPENSES WHICH INCLUDE MISCELLANEOUS PROGRAM, RECRUITING EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENSES. THESE EXPENSES WERE PAID FOR OUT OF MEMBER PARTICIPATION FEES.
