SCENIC ENHANCEMENT INITIATIVES: SCENIC TEXAS AND LOCAL CHAPTERS PARTNER WITH STATEWIDE ORGANIZATIONS TO PROVIDE INFORMATION, EDUCATIONAL FORUMS AND ADVOCACY ON STATEWIDE SCENIC ISSUES. SPECIFICALLY, THROUGH THE SCENIC CITY CERTIFICATION PROGRAM (SCCP), SCENIC TEXAS EDUCATES TEXAS MUNICIPALITIES ON HIGH-QUALITY SCENIC STANDARDS FOR PUBLIC ROADWAYS AND PUBLIC SPACES. THE SCCP PROVIDES A PROVEN, HIGHLY-REGARDED TOOL TO TEXAS CITIES FOR ASSESSMENT, EVALUATION AND RECOGNITION OF INFRASTRUCTURE STANDARDS.
EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY: SCENIC TEXAS WORKS TO PROVIDE INFORMATION TO THE PUBLIC, EDUCATE OUR MEMBERS AND STAKEHOLDERS, AND ADVOCATE CONCERNING ISSUES THAT IMPACT THE SCENIC BEAUTY OF TEXAS.
