LIVE THEATRE AND MUSICAL TRAINING: LIVE THEATRE AND MUSICAL TRAINING IS THE CORE OF OUR ORGANIZATION AND ARTS PROGRAMMING AT INDIANA PERFORMING ARTS THEATRE. OUR ARTS EDUCATION AND ARTS PROGRAMMING ARE DESIGNED TO DEVELOP YOUTH AND ADULTS IN ACTING, SINGING, DANCE AND MUSIC. ESPECIALLY THE UNDERSERVED AND UNDER REPRESENTEDARTISTS OF COLOR AND LOW-INCOME STUDENTS AND CONTINUATION OF LIVE STAGE PRODUCTIONS TO THE COMMUNITY AND WE TOUR PRODUCTIONS INTO SMALLER CITIES THAT LACK DIVERSITY IN THE ARTS AND PERFORMANCE THAT SHOWCASE MUSICAL AND PLAYS THAT SHOWCASE ARTIST OF COLOR.
ARTS EDUCATION: WORKSHOPS AND TRAININGINSTRUCTIONS IN ACTING, SINGING, DANCE, MUSIC AND VOCAL LESSONS AND SCRIPT READING IN A SERIES OF WORKSHOPS AND SPECIALTY TRAINING. MUSICAL THEATRE TRAINING IS OFFERED IN 3 - SESSONS PER YEARS SPRING, SUMMER & FALL, 3-MONTHS SESSIONS PER OFFERING, 10-12/HR PER WEEK. PARTICIPANTS LEARN THE FUNDAMENTALS AND BUILD SKILLS, WHILE ALSO LEARNING HOW TO WORK IN GROUPS AND BUILDING SELF-ESTEEM, AND CONFIDENCE THAT RESULTS IN BUILDING COMPETENCY IN PERFORMING ON STAGE AND PERFORMING IN FRONT OF LIVE AUDIENCES.
