ACADEMIC PROGRAM - FELLOWSHIP ACADEMY ENROLLED 355 STUDENTS, 121 IN GRADES 9-12 WITH 32 GRADUATES. IN ADDITION TO ON-LEVEL CURRICULUM, FA OFFERS HONORS COURSES IN ENGLISH, ALGEBRA 1 & 2, GEOMETRY, PRE-CALCULUS, BIOLOGY, CHEMISTRY, ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY, PATHOPHYSIOLOGY, PHYSICS, WORLD GEOGRAPHY AND WORLD HISTORY. ALL STUDENTS IN GRADES 9-11 PARTICIPATE IN THE PSAT ONSITE. FA PARTNERS WITH LETOURNEAU UNIVERSITY TO OFFER DUAL CREDIT COURSES ON CAMPUS FOR JUNIORS AND SENIORS IN ENGLISH COMPOSITION I & II, BRITISH LITERATURE I & II, US HISTORY, ECONOMICS, GOVERNMENT, AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE. FINE ARTS COURSES INCLUDE VISUAL ARTS, THEATER ARTS, BAND, AND CHORAL MUSIC. WE OFFER INSTRUCTION IN LANGUAGES OTHER THAN ENGLISH INCLUDING SPANISH AND AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE. STATE OF TEXAS ENDORSEMENTS INCLUDE MULTIDISCIPLINARY STUDIES, ARTS AND HUMANITIES, STEM, PUBLIC SERVICE - HEALTH SCIENCE, AND FINE ARTS. GRADUATES WERE ACCEPTED TO 24 HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS. THE TEACHER-STUDENT RATIO IS 1:9 FOR K-5 AND 1:11 FOR GRADES 6-12, WHICH IS BASED ON 121 HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AND 66 JUNIOR HIGH STUDENTS (7TH - 8TH GRADE) AND 21 TEACHERS.
ATHLETICS & FINE ARTS - FELLOWSHIP ACADEMY STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN THE FOLLOWING ATHLETIC PROGRAMS: BASEBALL, BASKETBALL, CHEERLEADING, FOOTBALL, GOLF, PHYSICAL EDUCATION, SOFTBALL, TRACK/CROSS COUNTRY, AND VOLLEYBALL. STUDENTS MAY ALSO PARTICIPATE IN A FINE ARTS PROGRAM INCLUDING ART AND DRUMLINE, CHOIR, PRAISE BAND, AND THEATER. PARTICIPATION IN THESE ACTIVITIES AUGMENT CLASSROOM EDUCATION AND ENCOURAGE PHYSICAL FITNESS AND CREATIVE EXPRESSION.
STUDENT ACTIVITIES - STUDENTS IN ALL GRADE LEVELS PARTICIPATE IN FIELD TRIPS, TRAVEL, FINE ARTS PRODUCTIONS AND COMPETITIONS, AND INTERSCHOLASTIC ACADEMIC COMPETITIONS. OTHER ACTIVITIES INCLUDE COMMUNITY SERVICE, NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY, STUDENT COUNCIL, YEARBOOK, YOUTH & GOVERNMENT, ROTARY CLUB, AND 4H. THESE ARE ALL DESIGNED TO HELP STUDENTS REALIZE THEIR FULL POTENTIAL AS THEY DISCOVER THEIR GOD-GIVEN TALENTS, GIFTS, AND PURPOSES AND TO GRADUATE GODLY LEADERS WHO WILL IMPACT THEIR COMMUNITY BY SERVING OTHERS.
