Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
BILL GLASS BEHIND THE WALLS IS A NATIONAL CHRISTIAN MINISTRY, BASED IN DALLAS, THAT TRAINS THOUSANDS OF CHRISTIAN VOLUNTEERS EACH YEAR TO SHARE THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST; THEN WE PROVIDE A HANDS-ON "TRAINING LABORATORY" EXPERIENCE BY TAKING THEM INTO PRISONS AND JAILS ACROSS THE COUNTRY TO SHARE THEIR FAITH. WE ENGAGE INMATES WITH A PROFESSIONALLY STAGED WEEKEND EVENT TYPICALLY HELD ON THE PRISON YARD FEATURING ATHLETES, ENTERTAINERS, EX-OFFENDERS AND MUSICIANS SHARING THEIR STORIES OF HOW THEY CAME TO FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST. THE PERFORMERS DRAW THE INMATES OUT THAT TYPICALLY WOULDN'T ATTEND A CHURCH OR CHAPEL SERVICE, BY OFFERING HOPE WHICH THEN PROVIDES AN OPEN DOOR FOR OUR CHRISTIAN VOLUNTEERS TO SHARE THEIR FAITH USING OUR PROVEN GOSPEL PAMPHLET.
