THE NATIONAL CENTER FOR CHILDRENS ILLUSTRATED LITERATURE (NCCIL) EXISTS TO EXHIBIT, TOUR, COLLECT, PRESERVE AND PROMOTE ORIGINAL ART FROM THE FINEST CHILDRENS LITERATURE WHILE INSPIRING CHILDREN OF ALL AGES TO READ AND BE CREATIVE. SEE SCHEDULE O FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.

THE ORGANINZATION COLLABORATES WITH AWARD-WINNING ILLUSTRATORS TO PRODUCE EXHIBITIONS OF THEIR ARTWORK THAT ARE DISTINCTIVE, APPEALING TO MUSEUM VISITORS OF ALL AGES, AND OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY. THE EXHIBITIONS ARE ON DISPLAY AT THEIR GALLERY IN ABILENE, TEXAS AND INCLUDE OPPORUNITIES TO MEET VISITING ARTISTS DURING THE EXHIBITIONS OPENING EVENTS. IN ADDITION, THESE AWARD-WINNING EXHIBITIONS THEN TRAVEL BOTH NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY TO BE EXHIBITED IN MUSEUMS, GALLERIES, LIBRARIES AND MORE, ENSURING MORE PEOPLE ARE IMPACTED BY THIS IMPORTANT WORK.


THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES EXHIBITIONS OF ARTWORK FROM CHILDRENS LITERATURE TO MUSEUMS, PUBLIC LIBRARIES, AND GALLERIES NATIONWIDE.
