THE ORGANINZATION COLLABORATES WITH AWARD-WINNING ILLUSTRATORS TO PRODUCE EXHIBITIONS OF THEIR ARTWORK THAT ARE DISTINCTIVE, APPEALING TO MUSEUM VISITORS OF ALL AGES, AND OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY. THE EXHIBITIONS ARE ON DISPLAY AT THEIR GALLERY IN ABILENE, TEXAS AND INCLUDE OPPORUNITIES TO MEET VISITING ARTISTS DURING THE EXHIBITIONS OPENING EVENTS. IN ADDITION, THESE AWARD-WINNING EXHIBITIONS THEN TRAVEL BOTH NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY TO BE EXHIBITED IN MUSEUMS, GALLERIES, LIBRARIES AND MORE, ENSURING MORE PEOPLE ARE IMPACTED BY THIS IMPORTANT WORK.
THE NCCIL OFFERS SEVERAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE COMMUNITY TO LEARN ABOUT THE DISPLAYED ART AND EXPLORE THEIR CREATIVE TALENTS. SOME OF THIS FREE PROGRAMMING INCLUDES FAMILY ART ACTIVITIES, MONTHLY ART ADVENTURE FOR PRESCHOOLERS, INSTRUCTIONAL EXHIBITION TOURS FOR STUDENTS, AND ANNUAL WORKSHOPS AND ART CAMPS FOR ALL AGES.
