IN 2022, JOURNEY OF HOPES CORE PROGRAM, THE BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT PROGRAM, SERVED 562 CHILDREN AND FAMILY MEMBERS WHO WERE GRIEVING THE DEATH OF A LOVED ONE, THROUGH OUR PEER GRIEF SUPPORT GROUPS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. JOURNEY OF HOPE ALSO PROVIDED CRISIS SUPPORT THROUGH OUR COMMUNITY BEREAVEMENT PROGRAM FOR 171 PEOPLE IN SCHOOLS AND OTHER COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS WHERE THERE HAD BEEN AN UNEXPECTED DEATH. JOURNEY OF HOPE TRAINED 798 SCHOOL COUNSELORS AND OTHER PROFESSIONALS AND VOLUNTEERS WHO HELP GRIEVING CHILDREN ON VARIOUS TOPICS RELATED TO HOW TO SUPPORT CHILDREN AFTER A DEATH, AND CONTINUED TO SERVE FAMILIES FROM EIGHT COUNTIES IN NORTH TEXAS.
