IN 2021, THROUGH THE UTILITIES PORTION OF OUR ORGANIZATION, WE ASSISTED 401 FAMILIES WITH PAYMENT OF VARIOUS GAS, ELECTRIC, PROPANE AND WATER BILLS, IN MANY CASES ALLOWING THE UTILITY TO REMAIN ON, AS WELL AS HELPING WITH ASSISTANCE TO OBTAIN A BIRTH CERTIFICATE IF NECESSARY. TOTAL $38,932. THE MEDICAL COMPONENT OF OUR ORGANIZATION ASSISTED 166 CLIENTS WITH DENTAL APPOINTMENTS, EYEGLASSES, PRESCRIPTION DRUGS AND TRANSPORTATION TO OUT OF TOWN MEDICAL FACILITIES. GRANTS FOR THE MEDICAL PORTION IN 2021 EQUALED $16,526. OUR PARTICIPATION IN THE EMERGENCY FOOD AND SHELTER PROGRAM ALLOWED US TO ASSISTS AN ADDITIONAL 78 FAMILIES WITH UTILITY BILLS. GRANTS IN THIS PROGRAM TOTALED $6,584.
