PLANOUP! IS A COLLABORATION OF SIX ORGANIZATIONS WHICH BRINGS MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS AND OTHER SOCIAL SERVICES TO CHILDREN WHO ARE AT RISK FOR DEPRESSION AND OTHER BEHAVIORAL HEALTH ISSUES, WORKING THROUGH THE PLANO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT. THIS PROGRAM IDENTIFIES STUDENTS AT RISK FOR DEPRESSION AND FURTER IDENTIFIES FAMILY NEEDS. IT PROVIDES EDUCATION TO STUDENTS THROUGH HEALTH CLASSES.IT PROVIDES COMMUNITY HEALTH LIASONS TO CONNECT SOCIAL SERVICES AND WORK ALONGSIDE SCHOOL COUNSELORS TO HOLISTICALLY ADDRESS THE NEEDS OF THE YOUTH EXPERIENCEING OR AT RISK FOR DEPRESSION, AND IT PROVIDES A PROJECT MANAGER TO CONNECT ALL PARTS OF THE PROJECT AND OVERSEE DATA COLLECTION AND TRACK PROGRESS.
DISTANCE LEARNING. THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED GRANTS TO THE PLANO SCHOOL DISTRICT TO MEET THE NEEDS RELATED TO DISTANCE LEARNING.
FINE ARTS. THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED GRANTS TO SUPPORT OPERATING COSTS OF THE ROBBIE & LYNORE ROBINSON FINE ARTS CENTER.
