CORE PROGRAM EXPERIENCE - LEADERSHIP TYLER RUNS A NINE-MONTH PROGRAM WHICH INCLUDES TWO RETREATS AND MONTHLY, DAY-LONG SESSIONS WHICH FOCUS ON COMMUNITY ISSUES AS WELL AS INCORPORATING A LEADERSHIP TRAINING COMPONENT. CLASS MEMBERS THAT COMPLETE THE PROGRAM HAVE A SOLID UNDERSTANDING OF THE CONCEPTS OF COMMUNITY TRUSTEESHIP, STEWARDSHIP, SERVANT LEADERSHIP, INTEGRITY ETHICS, LOCAL ECONOMIC AND VALUE DIVERSITY. THE 2021-2022 CLASS CONSISTED OF 37 MEMBERS. THIS PROGRAM HAS GRADUATED OVER 800 LEADERS FOR THE TYLER COMMUNITY.
THE CATALYST 100 PROGRAM IS A MENTORSHIP PROGRAM THAT PAIRS MEMBERS IN MENTORING RELATIONSHIPS AND OFFERS QUARTERLY SESSIONS ON CURRENT AND INFORMATIVE TOPICS RELATIVE TO OUR COMMUNITY. THERE WERE APPROXIMATELY 100 MEMBERS THIS YEAR. THE PROGRAM'S PURPOSE IS TO FURTHER EQUIP AND DEVELOP COMMUNITY LEADERS IN THE TYLER AREA BY PROVIDING FORUMS FOR NETWORKING, MENTORING AND DISCUSSION OF CURRENT COMMUNITY ISSUES.
EXECUTIVE ORIENTATION SERIES - THE LEADERSHIP TYLER EXECUTIVE ORIENTATION SERIES IS DESIGNED TO QUICKLY FAMILIARIZE NEW-TO-THE-AREA SENIOR EXECUTIVES (AND THEIR SPOUSES) TO THE COMMUNITY AND ITS RESOURCES SO THAT THEY BECOME MORE KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THIS AREA AND ITS BUSINESS PRACTICES. LEADERSHIP TYLER STRIVES FOR EOS PARTICIPANTS TO FEEL PROUD AND EXCITED ABOUT THIS AREA AND TO FOSTER A SENSE OF INVESTMENT IN TYLER'S GROWTH. THERE WERE EIGHT NEW EXECUTIVES AND FOUR SPOUSES THAT PARTICIPATED IN THE PROGRAM. THE EXECUTIVE ORIENTATION SERIES OFFERS PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS THE FOLLOWING OPPORTUNITIES: 1. LEAM ABOUT TYLER/SMITH COUNTY, INCLUDING ITS HISTORY, BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT POLITICAL/CIVIC STRUCTURES, CULTURAL, RECREATIONAL AND OTHER RESOURCES. 2.INTERACT WITH A CROSS-SECTION OF KEY LOCAL AND REGIONAL LEADERS AND DECISION MAKERS. 3. MEET OTHER EXECUTIVE/PROFESSIONAL INDIVIDUALS AND THEIR SPOUSES. THE SPRING 2021 SESSION WELCOMED 8 PROFESSIONALS AND THEIR SPOUSES.
ALUMNI COUNCIL PROVIDES MEMBERS WITH CONTINUING EDUCATION AND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES IN THE COMMUNITY. THERE ARE OVER 900 ALUMNI OF OUR PROGRAMS.
