SUPPORT GROUPS - 8 DIFFERENT SUPPORT GROUPS HELD THROUGHOUT THE 20 COUNTIES SERVED. MEETING PROVIDE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR FAMILIES AND CAREGIVERS TO LEARN THROUGH SPEAKERS, FILMS, AND DISCUSSIONS. APPROXIMATELY 500 PEOPLE ATTENDED SUPPORT GROUPS DURING THE YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2018.
TRAINING - PROVIDE CAREGIVING TRAINING FOR ALL VOLUNTEERS OF THE RESPITE CENTER. NEWSLETTER - PUBLISHED QUARTERLY TO KEEP MEMBERS, CAREGIVERS, BOTH FAMILY AND PROFESSIONAL, AND COMMUNITY LEADERS AWARE OF CURRENT RESEARCH AND MEDICAL DEVELOPMENTS, CAREGIVING TECHNIQUES AND THE ORGANIZATION'S PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES. APPROXIMATELY 4,000 NEWSLETTERS MAILED. DEVELOPMENT OF NEW WEBSITE TO EXPAND ACCESS TO EDUCATION RESOURCES.
