CHILDREN'S MEDICAL CENTER FOUNDATION SHALL BE OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE PROMOTION OF HEALTH AND THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION UNDER IRC SECTION 501(C)(3). THE FOUNDATION PURSUES AND SECURES PHILANTHROPIC CONTRIBUTIONS TO ENABLE CHILDREN'S HEALTH SYSTEM OF TEXAS, A 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATION, AND ITS RELATED ENTITIES TO FULFILL THE MISSION OF MAKING LIFE BETTER FOR CHILDREN, IN FURTHERANCE OF THEIR CHARITABLE PURPOSES. TO ACCOMPLISH THIS PURPOSE THE FOUNDATION, LIKE CHILDREN'S HEALTH, IS COMMITTED TO SUPPORTING THE INSTITUTION'S GUIDING PRINCIPLES: QUALITY CARE, RESEARCH AND INNOVATION, EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY, EXCELLENCE AND ACCOUNTABILITY.
