THE MUSEUM PROVIDES THE COMMUNITY THE OPPORTUNITY TO VIEW QUALITY WORKS OF ART AND PARTICIPATE IN ART-RELATED ACTIVITIES TO PROVIDE ART CULTURE AND EDUCATION. APPROXIMATELY 675 MEMBERS. STARBASE GOODFELLOW IS A DEPT OF DEFENSE EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH PROGRAM MANAGED LOCALLY BY THE SAN ANGELO MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS. THIS PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO INCREASE KNOWLEDGE IN SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING AND MATH.
