THE ASSOCIATION TRIED TO HOLD ITS ANNUAL CONFERENCE, PROVIDING TRAINING SESSIONS AND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES FOR ITS MEMBERSHIP AS WELL AS ACCESS TO EXHIBITORS WHOSE PRODUCTS AND SERVICES ARE USED BY LAW ENFORCEMENT PERSONNEL; HOWEVER DUE TO COVID-19, THE CONFERENCE WAS POSTPONED AND THEN CANCELLED. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO PROVIDED ADVANCEMENT TESTS TO LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES IN THE STATE. THEY PROVIDED MANAGEMENT SERVICES TO THE CHARITABLE FOUNDATION WHICH PROVIDES SUPPORT TO FAMILIES OF POLICE OFFICERS KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO MONITORS TEXAS LEGISLATIVE ACTIVITY IN ORDER TO INFORM ITS MEMBERSHIP OF ANY LAW ENFORCEMENT RELATED ISSUES.
