HELPING RESTORE ABILITY IS A 501(C)(3) CHARITABLE NONPROFIT CORPORATION THAT EMPLOYS, TRAINS, AND MONITORS PERSONAL ATTENDANT CARE PROVIDERS FOR PEOPLE OF ALL AGES WITH ANY TYPE OF DISABILITY. THROUGH OUR PROGRAM SERVICES, HELPING RESTORE ABILITY EDUCATES, ADVOCATES, ENRICHES, AND ENABLES THE LIVES OF INDIVIDUALS WHO OTHERWISE MAY BE CONFINED TO NURSING HOMES. HELPING RESTORE ABILITY ENVISIONS A FUTURE IN WHICH NO TEXAN WITH A DISABILITY LACKS THE RESOURCES THEY NEED TO LIVE A FULL AND INDEPENDENT LIFE.

CONSUMER DIRECTED SERVICES (CDS) - TRAINED ATTENDANTS PROVIDE THE CARE AND SUPPORT SYSTEMS FOR DISABLED INDIVIDUALS TO LIVE INDEPENDENTLY AND FUNCTION PRODUCTIVELY IN MAINSTREAM SOCIETY. THIS PROGRAM EMPOWERS CONSUMERS TO MAKE PERSONAL DECISIONS RELATED TO THE DELIVERY OF PERSONAL ASSISTANCE SERVICES AND RESPITE SERVICES WITHIN HIS OR HER CURRENT HOME AND IS OFFERED THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE STATE OF TEXAS. 359,291 ANNUAL HOURS OF SERVICES PROVIDED; AVERAGE NUMBER OF CLIENTS SERVED PER MONTH 436.
STAR KIDS - A MANAGED CARE PROGRAM. THE PROGRAM SERVES CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS AGES 20 AND YOUNGER WITH DISABILITIES.
