WORLD CHRISTIAN BROADCASTING'S SHORTWAVE RADIO RECEPTION THROUGHOUT THE WORLD IS MEASURED BY MONITORS IN THOSE AREAS WHO ARE PAID TO LISTEN TO OUR BROADCASTS AND REPORT ON RECEPTION QUALITY, AND BY THE MAIL AND EMAIL RESPONSES WE REGULARLY RECEIVE FROM LISTENERS. WE CURRENTLY BROADCAST 10 HOURS IN CHINESE, 5 HOURS IN RUSSIAN, 9 HOURS IN ENGLISH, 2 HOURS IN ARABIC, 1 HOUR IN SPANISH AND 1 HOUR IN PORTUGUESE EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR. OUTAGES ARE REPORTED TO THE FCC. THE EFFECTIVENESS OF OUR WEBSITES IS GAUGED BY THE OVER 5.4 MILLION HITS WE RECEIVE ANNUALLY.
