THE LARGEST ACHIEVEMENT PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO ITS OVER 18,000 MEMBERS. THESE MEMBER SERVICES INCLUDE ASSISTANCE WITH COLLECTIVE BARGAINING, LABOR GRIEVANCES & DISPUTES, PUBLIC RELATIONS, AND HEALTH & SAFETY ISSUES. OTHER MEMBER SERVICES INCLUDE EDUCATING MEMBERS AND KEEPING THEM INFORMED OF ISSUES THAT AFFECT THEIR PROFESSION. THE ORGANIZATION ACCOMPLISHES THIS THRU MAINTENANCE OF ITS WEBSITE, REGULAR NEWSLETTERS AND MAILINGS TO MEMBERS AND HOLDING CONFERENCES AND SEMINARS.
