THE ORGANIZATION IS DEDICATED TO PROMOTING THE HUMANE TREATMENT OF ANIMALS AND ADDRESSING THE ISSUES AND PROBLEMS RELATED TO OVERPOPULATION OF DOMESTIC ANIMALS BY PROVIDING SHELTER AND CARE. THE ORGANIZATION WORKED WITH VARIOUS ADMINISTRATIVE, LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES AND INDIVIDUALS TO IDENTIFY, LOCATE, AND RESCUE ANIMALS THAT HAD BEEN ABANDONED, ABUSED, NEGLECTED, OR INJURED. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PARTICIPATED ON A LIMITED BASIS IN A COORDINATED EFFORT WITH OTHER NOT-FOR-PROFIT SHELTERS, OR SIMILAR ORGANIZATIONS, TO TRANSFER ANIMALS BETWEEN THE FACILITIES, INCREASING THE LIKELIHOOD THAT THESE ANIMALS WOULD BE ADOPTED.
