WE HELP OURSELVES (WHO) IS A SERIES OF RESEARCH-BASED CURRICULA THAT ARE FORMED ON SENSITIVE, NON-THREATENING CONTENT AND METHODOLOGY. SINCE 1981, THE WHO PROGRAM HAS ALLOWED SCHOOL COUNSELORS, CHILD ADVOCATES, NURSES, TEACHERS, CASE WORKERS, AND VOLUNTEERS TO PRESENT WHO IN CLASSROOM OR GROUP SETTINGS FOR AGES PREK-12TH GRADES. VIDEOS, FOLLOW-UP ACTIVITIES, AND EVALUATION INSTRUMENTS ARE ALSO INCLUDED IN WHO PROGRAM MATERIALS.


MHA-DALLAS'S PUBLIC POLICY PROGRAM WORKS TO CHANGE POLICIES AND INCREASE SERVICES, FACILITIES, AND QUALITY BY EDUCATING PUBLIC POLICYMAKERS AND ELECTED OFFICIALS AT ALL GOVERNMENT LEVELS. WE PROVIDE POLICYMAKERS WITH EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS, RESEARCH, TESTIMONY AT HEARINGS, AND ADVICE ABOUT ISSUES RELATED TO MENTAL HEALTH.


MOTHERS AND BABIES IS AN EVIDENCE-BASED PROGRAM DESIGNED TO SUPPORT MOTHERS NAVIGATE PREGNANCY AND MOTHERHOOD. THE PROGRAM AIMS TO PREVENT POSTPARTUM DEPRESSION AND SUPPORT THE MENTAL WELLNESS OF OUR MOTHERS. THE PROGRAM FOCUSES ON:TOOLS AND SUPPORT FOR PREGNANT AND NEW MOMS TO HELP MANAGE STRESSPROMOTES HEALTHY BONDING WITH BABYPROMOTES HEALTHY COMMUNICATION AND SOCIAL SUPPORT
