WITH THE ECONOMIC SITUTATION BEING AS IT WAS OUR EFFORTS WERE DIFFICULT TO ATTRACT NEW BUSINESS AND INDUSTRIES TO OUR AREA. HOWEVER WE INVOLVED OUR SELFS IN WORKSHOPS, ECONOMIC SEMINARS, TRADE INDUSTRIAL SHOWS AND ANY OTHER SHOWS WHERE WE COULD BRING ATTENTION TO OUR ORGANIZATIONAL PURPOSE. OUR ATTENTION WAS ALSO DIRECTED TOWARDS THE MEXICAN INDUSTRIES THAT ARE ALWAYS LOOKING TO THE U.S. AND THE LARGE SOUTH TEXAS MARKET. ALL IN ALL OUR YEAR WAS NOT VERY PRODUCTIVE BUT WE CONTINUE TO MAKE AS MANY CONTACTS AS WE CAN AND WE HOPE THE NEW YEAR BRINGS US BETTER CONTACTS AND PROPECTS.
