SANCTUARIES: TRAVIS AUDUBON'S THREE NATURE PRESERVES PROVIDE IDEAL PLATFORMS TO BROADEN PUBLIC AWARENESS ABOUT CONSERVATION. EACH SANCTUARY HAS A CAREFULLY DEVELOPED MANAGEMENT PLAN TO GUIDE RESTORATION AND MAINTENANCE EFFORTS. BLAIR WOODS SANCTUARY IS A 10-ACRE TRACT OF WOODS, PRAIRIE, AND WETLANDS IN AN URBAN SETTING OF AUSTIN'S EAST SIDE. OUR 715-ACRE BAKER SANCTUARY IS PART OF THE BALCONES CANYONLANDS PRESERVE, AND IS DEDICATED TO THE PROTECTION OF THE ENDANGERED GOLDEN-CHEEKED WARBLER. TRAVIS AUDUBON'S 12-ACRE CHAETURA CANYON SANCTUARY IN NORTHWEST AUSTIN IS WORLD-RENOWNED FOR RESEARCH AND CONSERVATION OF CHIMNEY SWIFTS.
