KRAMDEN'S MISSION IS ADVANCING EQUITABLE ACCESS TO DEVICES, CONNECTIVITY, AND TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION. SINCE 2003, KRAMDEN HAS AWARDED MORE THAN 55,000 COMPUTERS ACROSS NORTH CAROLINA, TAUGHT TECHNOLOGY SKILLS TO MORE THAN 12,000 PEOPLE OF ALL AGES, AND RECYCLED MORE THAN 2 MILLION POUNDS OF E- WASTE. KRAMDEN'S BIGGEST EXPENSE CATEGORIES ARE SALARIES FOR OUR EDUCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL OPERATIONS STAFF (60%), DEVICES AND PARTS (20%), AND DONATED EQUIPMENT ACQUISITION AND RECYCLING (20%). THESE CHIEF ACTIVITIES ENABLE US TO PROVIDE REFURBISHED DESKTOPS TO K-12 STUDENTS (KTS PROGRAM), LOW COST DEVICES TO LOW INCOME ADULTS (TAP PROGRAM) AND TO NON- PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS, SCHOOLS, AND CHURCHES (TECH EQUIPMENT PARTNERS PROGRAM), AND DEVICES TO PEOPLE WHO COMPLETE A FREE 8-HOUR COMPUTER BASICS CLASS.
