THE MISSION OF THE CHESTERFIELD-COLONIAL HEIGHTS CHRISTMAS MOTHER PROGRAM IS TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE IN THE FORM OF NEW TOYS, BOOKS, CLOTHING AND FOOD GIFT CARDS TO QUALIFYING CHILDREN, FAMILIES AND SENIORS AS WE CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAYS IN OUR COMMUNITY.

NEW TOYS AND BOOKS WERE DISTRIBUTED TO 3488 QUALIFIED CHILDREN - EACH CHILD RECEIVED A STUFFED ANIMAL, TWO MAJOR TOYS AND 7 BOOKS APPROPRIATE TO THEIR AGE. $50 GIFT CARDS WERE GIVEN TO OLDER TEENS IN LIEU OF TOYS


CLOTHING WAS DISTRIBUTED TO 3488.. QUALIFIED CHILDREN. EACH CHILD RECEIVED A NEW, OUTFIT, PANTS AND SHIRT, SOCKS, UNDERWEAR, AND OTHER ITEMS OF CLOTHING.


GIFT CARDS FOR FOOD WERE DISTRIBUTED TO 4989 INDIVIDUALS, INCLUDING FAMILIES WITH CHILDEN AND ELDERS. DEPENDING ON THE NUMBER OF INDIVIDUALS IN THE FAMILY, THE VALUE OF THE GIFT CARDS RANGED FROM $70 TO $150, TO PURCHASE FOOD FOR THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS.
