FIRE SUPPRESSION, FIRST RESPONDERS AND EMT VOLUNTEERS THE MEDINA VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT, INC. IS AN ALL-VOLUNTEER NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION OUR PRIMARY RESPONSE AREA IS APPROXIMATELY 386 SQUARE MILES AND HAVE MUTUAL AID AGREEMENTS

HUNTERS GAME DINNER IS HELD ON THE OPENING DAY OF DEER SEASON. THERE IS ONE MAJOR RAFFLE HELD DURING THE YEAR AND DRAWN AT THIS EVENT. SPONSORS AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITY ATTEND THE EVENT TO ENJOY THE MUSIC, DANCING, SILENT AUCTION ITEMS FROM LOCAL MERCHANTS, FOOD AND FUN. ANNUAL RAFFLE CONDUCTED TO ASSIST IN COVERING ALL EXPENSES FOR THE PROGRAMS SERVICES OF ASSISTING IN EMERGENCY RESPONSES.
ANNUAL COMMUNITY FISH FRY, WITH ENTERTAINMENT AND COMMUNITY THANK YOU FOR THE SUPPORT THEY HAVE GIVEN EACH YEAR TO THE DEPARTMENT. IN 2020 THE DEPARTMENT OFFERED FREE FISH FRY MEAL FOR EVERYONE. INDIVIDUALS TOOK TO-GO PLATES HOME TO THEIR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS ABIDING BY COVID REGULATIONS.
ANNUAL MAILOUT TO UPDATE THE COMMUNITY ON THE PROGRESS OF THE DEPARTMENT FIRE FIGHTER TRAINING, NUMBER OF EMERGENCY RESPONSES AND THE GOALS FOR THE NEW YEAR.
