TO DEVELOP, PROMOTE, AND SPONSOR PROGRAMS OF EDUCATION TO ENCOURAGE BETTER UNDERSTANDING, GREATER APPRECIATION, AND BETTER CARE OF ALL ANIMALS. TO ENGAGE IN OTHER ACTIVITIES WHICH ENCOURAGE AND PROMOTE KINDNESS, CONSIDERATION, AND PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ALL ANIMALS.

SPAYSA PROVIDES PREVENTION OF PET OVERPOPULATION THROUGH THEIR PET HELPLINE, AND FUNDING FOR ROUTINE SPAY/NEUTER SERVICES THROUGH THEIR VOUCHER PROGRAM INCLUDING REFERRAL SERVICES TO THE SPAY NEUTER ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (SNAP). VOUCHERS ARE AVAILABLE TO LOW INCOME RESIDENTS OF SAN ANTONIO AND BEXAR COUNTY WITH AN EMPHASIS ON NON-TARGETED ZIP CODES THAT ARE NOT PART OF THE CURRENT CITY CONTRACTED SUBSIDIZED SURGERIES LIST FOR PERFORMING LOW COST SPAY/NEUTER CLINICS. 823 SURGERIES WERE FUNDED IN THIS FISCAL YEAR.
