SANTA ROSA FAMILY HEALTH CENTER IS A NONPROFIT CORPORATION WHOSE SOLE CORPORATE MEMBER IS CHRISTUS SANTA ROSA HEALTH CARE CORPORATION. SANTA ROSA FAMILY HEALTH CENTER SPONSORS THE FAMILY PRACTICE RESIDENCY PROGRAM THAT IS A COMMUNITY BASED INDEPENDENT PROGRAM SPONSORED BY CHRISTUS SANTA ROSA HEALTH CARE CORPORATION. THIS PROGRAM TRAINS RESIDENTS TO WORK IN FAMILY PRACTICE IN UNDERSERVED, RURAL AREAS. DURING ITS FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2021, SANTA ROSA FAMILY HEALTH CENTER SERVED 28,245 PATIENTS THROUGH OFFICE VISITS, AND AN ADDITIONAL 7,355 PATIENTS THROUGH INPATIENT HOSPITAL VISITS - FOR A TOTAL OF 35,600 PATIENTS SERVED DURING THE YEAR. CHRISTUS SANTA ROSA HEALTH CARE CORPORATION IS PART OF CHRISTUS HEALTH, WHICH WAS FORMED IN 1999 TO STRENGTHEN THE 153 YEAR-OLD, FAITH-BASED HEALTH CARE MINISTRIES OF THE CONGREGATIONS OF THE SISTERS OF CHARITY OF THE INCARNATE WORD OF HOUSTON AND SAN ANTONIO.
