THE MCLENNAN COUNTY DISPUTE RESOLUTION CENTER PROVIDES FACILITIES, TRAINING AND EDUCATION FOR DISPUTE RESOLUTION METHODS SUCH AS MEDIATION. DURING 2022/2023 FISCAL YEAR, 65 CASES WERE MEDIATED AND 19 VOLUNTEER MEDIATORS WERE UTILIZED AND 12 PEOPLE WERE TRAINED AS MEDIATORS. THE DRC PROVIDES AFFORDABLE, QUALITY MEDIATION IN CIVILE AND FAMILY LAW CASES TO QUALIFYING PARTIES HO MIGHT NOT OTHERWISE BE ABLE TO AFFORD MEDIATION. THE DRC ALSO MEDIATES CHILD PROTECTION SERVICES CASES IN MCLENNAN COUNTY.
