PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE - THE PURPOSE OF THE SAN ANTONIO CHAPTER AMERICAN CONCRETE INSTITUTE INC IS TO FURTHER THE CHARTERED OBJECTIVES FOR WHICH THE AMERICAN CONCRETE INSTITUTE WAS ORGANIZED TO FURTHER THE EDUCATION & TECHNICAL PRACTICE, SCIENTIFIC INVESTIGATION, AND RESEARCH BY ORGANIZING THE EFFORTS OF ITS MEMBERS FOR A NON-PROFIT, PUBLIC SERVICE IN GATHERING, CORRELATING, AND DISSEMINATING INFORMATION FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, MANUFACTURE, USE, AND MAINTANANCE OF CONCRETE PRODUCTS AND STRUCTURES.

CONDUCTED EXAMINATION TO CERTIFY PEOPLE IN THE PROCEDURES FOR TESTING AND SAMPLING CONCRETE.


GAVE MULTIPLE SCHOLARSHIPS AND DONATIONS TO LOCAL UNIVERSITY STUDENTS TO AID THEM IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THEIR KNOWLEDGE IN THE CONCRETE INDUSTRY.


HELD EDUCATIONAL LUNCHES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. EACH MEETING INCLUDED A PRESENTATION OF A RELATIVE TOPIC WITHIN THE CONCRETE INDUSTRY.
