THREE PAIN SYMPOSIA OFFERED ANNUALLY, THE FIRST WITH THE TEXAS MEDICAL ASSOCIATION EACH SPRING, THE SECOND WITH THE TEXAS TECH UNIVERSITY HEALTH SCIENCES CENTER EACH SUMMER, AND THE THIRD THE TEXAS PAIN SOCIETY'S ANNUAL MEETING EACH FALL, AS WELL AS LOCAL CHAPTER MEETINGS TO INCREASE COMMUNICATION AMONGST LOCAL PHYSICIANS REGARDING PAIN MANAGEMENT.


PUBLICATIONS INCLUDING MONTHLY E-NEWSLETTER, QUARTERLY SUBSCRIPTION TO PAIN PRACTICE, PAIN ARTICLES, WHITE PAPERS, CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE RECORD BOOK, INFORMED CONSENT AGREEMENT, E-MAIL COMMUNICATIONS, AND THE SOCIETY'S WEB PAGE PROVIDING UPDATES, RESEARCH ARTICLES, UPCOMING MEETINGS, CHRONIC AND ACUTE PAIN FAQ'S, AND LINKS TO NATIONAL PAIN-RELATED ORGANIZATIONS.
